Chico inspired me to write a review. Haha. I have had Vonage for almost 2 years now. I had a problem during my first month of service that I was able to fix myself after reading on the customer support site for Vonage. I haven’t had any issues since then. My 2 years is about up and I thought it would be a good time to look for a better deal. I found that phone power has a free year on this website. The reviews seem good, but I already have my Vonage service hooked up so I think I’ll just stick with them. I have the line connected to 3 different phones in our house. We love all the features and would easily recommend Vonage to others.

We have had vonage for over a year now and love them. Too bad we are going to have to cancel! We were on the 500 min plan but kept going over our minutes and getting charged. We spent a lot more money on the 500 plan then the unlimited plan cost because we kept going over. I was thinking of upgrading to the unlimited plan for $25 per month but found a deal at voip.com. So far so good with voip.com. I don’t have any complaints about vonage though. I just wish they would lower the prices.

This is so cool. I just got an iphone and I have my work and home phone voicemails (both vonage lines) sent to my email that shows up on my iphone. Then I click on the emails and I can listen to them on my iphone. Now I never miss a call. Gotta love all this tech. love vonage.

My biggest complaint is their customer service. It sucks! Besides that, Vonage has a great product. Yeah, there has been a couple times where my phone sounds a little different than a regular phone….but I can deal with that. I think Vonage needs to lower their prices in order to compete with other companies listed on this website though. Some of these other voip services are less than half the price? Is that because Vonage spends so much money on advertising?

TThe customer service is so bad, rude, they have no technical knowledge and they are not aware of any business process. They ripped me with over $110 hence I had to close the account. It got so bad yesterday that one of the representatives put me on hold for over 30 minutes and then hung up the phone on me and on calling back Vonage they blamed me for hanging the phone. The customer service representatives are so poorly informed that one of the representatives will tell you something on a day and after a few days if you call them back they will tell you something totally different on the very same topic. One of the surprising thing is that the customer service do not want to transfer the phones to the Managers they just say that the managers have left the office even before their normal working hours. This happened to me yesterday when I asked the rep to connect me over to the manager at around 7:50 PM and she said they have left the office (the office hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00PM) and when I told her that there is still 10 minutes left for them to call the day off then she connected me to the Manager. This is really bad on their part and I’m sure they are heading the same way Circuit City went. Guys just avoid Vonage they will rip you with your hard earned money.

I have had Vonage for over 6 years now and continue to be happy with their service. It seems like a lot of unhappy customers get on the internet and post negative feedback on Vonage. Get a life! I guarantee for every unhappy customer there are thousands of happy ones. Yes, customer service is hard to reach and difficult to understand. Thankfully I have not needed to call them much. My biggest complaint is the steady increase in prices. It seems like every year the price goes up somehow. Overall, I love Vonage and would easily recommend them.

Vonage, Vonage, oh Vonage. STOP spending soooooooooo much money on commercials and hire some American customer reps to answer your phones. I can tell from other reviews on this site that I’m not alone in my pain. The service works super, but if you ever have to call Vonage for any reason, be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait, and then hang-up.

I'm with you vonagefan22! I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. My Vonage phone works great. I signed up a few months ago and got my adapter a few days later. I was able to transport my old number over a few days after that. I use my cordless GE phone that I have always used with my landline and it works great. I love all the features and love the price. I was paying over 100 dollars a month before because of long distance calls. Vonage saved me. I did have to call their customer service once, it was over seas, but the guy spoke fine English and he was able to answer all my questions. I have told several friends and family members that they should get Vonage.

Woohooo whooohooohoo. I have had Vonage for over 4 years and love it. Listen up people!!! If you pay over $30 bucks a month then you are getting screwed by your phone company!!!!! Vonage not only works the same as my old phone from Bell South, its better! You get a ton more features and save a butt load of cash. I calculated that I’m saving over $700 per year since I changed over to Vonage.

I love this new Vonage World service. I have 2 family members living in 2 different parts of China. In the past it has been very expensive to call them. Now I can call them for free. This is so great. I don't know how Vonage can offer free calls to China, but I am so happy. Would recommend Vonage World to anyone who has family overseas

I have been using Vonage for almost 10 days now -- the quality of calls has been excellent. If your calls are not clear, check your internet bandwidth, since VOIP depends on internet bandwidth. I have still not cancelled my existing landline, which I am going to do it soon, as soon as my 30-day trial period expires. If you make overseas calls, expecially to India, please sign up with Vonage, because the calls are free (both cell and landline) and the quality is excellent. In addition, my wife calls her brother in Australia, and calls to that country are free as well (in this case only landlines). My normal international long distance bill comes to around $35/month. Now I break even ($24.99 + $10 taxes & fees) with free Vonage international calls plus an additional landline. If you do not have Vonage, you are paying too much for phone service!
